Incredible look into the action behind BLUE EYE SAMURAI. Neither motion capture nor live model references like in traditional animation, they instead employ a full-fledged stunt choreography team like for film/tv and incorporate it directly into the storyboard/animation process

Just finished watching all 8 episodes of BLUE EYE SAMURAI! Well, everything is wonderful! Everything is all beautiful! Without a doubt, the best anime of the year! It is a visual work that transcends the common sense of animation!

The new generation of CG-based animation reached a turning point with "Spider-Man: Spider-Verse (2018)" and reached maturity with "Arcane (2021)", but this tv series has reached the next level!

"Is the avenging demon a demon or a samurai? Is it really a monster?" The theme and message are simple. The story is set in 17th century Edo (Tokyo), but it is also applicable to today's world.

The characters are also well-designed! At first, I wasn't sure about Ringo, Taigen, and Akemi, I’m like “let alone the main character, Mizu!”. But as their backgrounds are told, I felt more and more sympathy for them and found them attractive. Highly recommended! If you don't watch it, you're missing out👍⚔️

CGを使った新世代アニメは「スパイダーマン:スパイダーバース(2018)」で転換期を迎え、「アーケイン(2021)」で成熟を迎えたが、本作はその次のレベルに到達している！

“復讐の鬼は、悪魔か、サムライか？果たして、化け物か？” テーマもメッセージもシンプル。時代に翻弄され、“定め”に囚われた者たちが自らの意志で自由を掴み取る物語だ。17世紀の江戸が舞台だが、今の時代にも通ずる。

キャラクターの造型もいい！主人��のミズは兎も角、リンゴやタイゲン、アケミなどは最初はどうかな？と思っていたが、彼らの背景が語られる度に、共感を覚え、魅力的に見えてくる。超お薦め！観ないと損👍⚔️

I watched 5 episodes of BLUE EYE SAMURAI! This is awesome! Using puppet theater, Mizu's past is cut back to the present! The reason why Mizu became a vengeance demon is revealed. You can't watch it without tears. The direction, the movements, the pictures and the story are amazing. This is now beyond anime!

Only three more episodes to go. I can't watch the rest of the story because it's too good.
