@JimGaffigan I have two brother-in-laws that plan to vote for him. Why? Why can’t any of the republican representatives stand up to him and vote against his horrific behavior? I understand both sides of the political realm but I do not understand supporting such a hideous man.
@MsRauschMWHS@learnteachtech I would normally feel the same way. This year we have been focusing on note-taking. If you can get kids to go back and review the next day, the connection is pretty amazing.

@learnteachtech My kids are at a point that activity day is their favorite day. Kids can work with 1,2or3 other people. The kids are always engaged. It is so fun watching them talk and work through the problems #csp554
@learnteachtech Feedback can come in so many ways. I love using whiteboards to give immediate feedback. We also do quick 4-question assessments. Easy to look over and quick to see if the students understand the concept or not. Aligned with Schoology, passed back next day.

@learnteachtech Another thing you can do is start the year off letting them know you will be working with everyone in the class at least once. Sometimes you will be the expert, other times a classmate will be the expert. I try to create safety.

@learnteachtech I have a saying, "No one is done until everyone is done." The kids know they need to work together to complete a group project. I also have jobs. Each student picks a job to do in the activity. Finally, I remind the students, if you can teach someone else, you've got it,

@learnteachtech Technology is great when it can be part of a classroom or done at home. I make a bunch of silly videos. My kids don’t mind watching at home.#csp554
@learnteachtech I don’t care for homework much but practicing right after a lesson is crucial. If I can combine practice with the notes and let them reflect on what they needed and learned, even better. Practice can become homework if students do not use their time wisely. #csp554
