And, hot take (b/c I'm tired of seeing these folks call themselves artists) : art is in execution and as an artist you are an executor. Prompt users have an AI system execute for them. They are not artists. The system and the artists that it learned from are the artists.

So they now care about accessibility to defend AI Art? This is the second argument I've seen like this. I could say so much. However, imo, AI art doesn't actually solve accessibility issues; instead, you'd make tools and ergonomic hardware that allow people to paint or draw.

"My art doesn't look as good b/c I didn't have the privilege to pursue art." Yeah, that's how that works. Most of us were little freaks, drawing shitty anime scribbles in a corner for years, haha. You have to put time in if you want to be good.
