New cases at 815, no indication of any rise - the 7 day rolling average is below 1000.

As we ease out of lockdown, please keep following the rules. We need to keep forcing that number down.

COVID-19 has gone down due to the efforts of everyone but is still in general circulation.

If we do not follow social distancing guidance then cases will rise again. Naturally people will want to enjoy the sun but we need to do so in a way that is safe for all.

@toryboypierce @DPJHodges I think it’s more or less the same reason you can’t have live acts in pubs. My thought is that saliva droplets can be more easily ingested and expelled by swimmers than punters socially distancing in a pub wearing face coverings. You can’t wear a face mask if you’re swimming.
