If Matt LaFleur is let go — and that’s a big if — there are several connections to keep in mind:

• Falcons: New president Matt Ryan. LaFleur was Ryan’s QB coach during his MVP season.

• Dolphins: New GM Jon-Eric Sullivan just came over from Green Bay after 20+ years with the organization.

• Titans: LaFleur was previously the OC there before becoming Packers HC, and team president Chad Brinker also came from Green Bay.

And that’s not even mentioning other teams without direct ties who would likely have interest as well.

The Haslams have nevertheless fired him with unanimous approval of the local sports media clowns, apparently because he didn't win enough having to play most of the season with two late round rookie QBs. Absolutely absurd, yet typical for the post-99 Browns, the most inept franchise in NFL history.
