@BiscuitsGA They are as close as some places get to community centers. Workers(white and blue collar) and students (HS/Elem or college commuters) met for breakfast. Parking lots after school and games. Politicking for all parties. Preachers and dealers. I miss it.

@BiscuitsGA As someone who spent years in rural TN gas stations, that wouldn't even be the weirdest thing all day. Every community has their oddballs. Some are extremely rightwing. Some are crazy liberal. Some carry mannequins they think are real. Nothing phases gas station folks.
