@cdub614@Dolby@PlayStation@Sonos@LGUS It will technically work, as in it will receive the signal and produce sounds, but you can't get proper Dolby Atmos sound out of a soundbar.
@Roku Please, please remove the new Continue Watching section on the home screen. It's annoying, it shows things I don't actually watch, and also stuff I never finished from services I no longer subscribe to. And I can't even remove them because the function is broken.
Plz undo.
@Piscadilly @ElrondGaming @Wario64 It's tricky, cus manufacturers also use "Atmos technology" for audio processing on TV speakers. The LG page for this says "Immerse yourself in the action as our α9 Gen 5 AI Processor up-mixes 2-channel audio into virtual 7.1.2 channel sound." Which, you know, isn't Atmos at all.
@michaelphigham This is the same company that went on a mass spending spree to buy out (or attempt to buy out) most competing websites in the space last year. Their layoffs came just months later in March.
