🚨🗣️ Thierry Henry on Declan Rice and Morgan Rogers’ clash:
“Chelsea came prepared. They wanted to bully Arsenal, and you could see that mentality even before the game. But they didn’t understand this is a different Arsenal now. You can’t just come and bully this team anymore.
We have to give Mikel Arteta a lot of credit. I remember when José Mourinho’s Chelsea used to do it to Arsenal. Arsenal would have more possession and play better football, but Chelsea made the game physical, made us uncomfortable and beat us because we were too soft at times.
That has changed. People will keep trying to stop Arsenal because they know they can’t bully this team anymore. That’s why you hear people saying Arsenal are ‘cheating’ or complaining about everything. For me, that shows they’re scared of what Arsenal have become.
Then I saw Morgan Rogers doing my celebration after scoring. Fair enough! If you’re going to give it, you have to be ready to take it.
What Declan Rice did afterwards was completely professional. You don’t expect him to stand there and let someone disrespect his team. He responded the right way.
I respect Rice even more for that. He showed leadership, personality and mentality. This Arsenal team isn’t the soft Arsenal of the past.
You want to make it personal? Fine. Just be ready when Arsenal make it personal back on the pitch.”

You cannot teach architecture in a building that has no architectural conviction. Yet that is exactly what most institutions on this continent do.
Rwanda built their faculty of architecture the way architecture should be taught. By example.
Twenty years after the University of Rwanda’s College of Science and Technology was founded, the country finally commissioned a dedicated faculty of architecture. They launched an international competition. The expectation was simple. Build something that knows where it is.
The four natural elements are written into the building itself. Fire in the orange facade. Water in the inner garden. Air in the open circulation spaces. Earth in the lava rock and rammed earth walls. The jagged pyramid volumes follow Rwanda’s topography. Nothing was imported that the land could not already provide.
Every student who walks through that building receives their first architecture lesson before sitting in a single class.
That is what it means to build with intention.
