I just submitted the final draft of "Angular for Enterprise Applications" to my publisher. An incredible amount of work has gone into it. Massive shout-out to Jurgen Van de Moere for an incredibly thorough review. Coming out Feb 9th. Pre-order now https://t.co/DDPCqsmrSg.
This is how much config a @typescript project should require (and this includes unit testing harness as well). Great job with @deno_land v2. I think it's finally ready for me to switch over to. #minimalism is key to setting up beginners for success.
AAA games and NASA programs like SLS/Orion are similar cuz both are large-scale projects with massive budgets, employing many specialists over long periods. They create jobs and drive innovation, but often face delays and cost overruns. Both face pressure to continue (too big to fail) due to job creation and regional economic impact (or senior leaders wanting to maintain their own teams/power), even when outcomes don't justify the huge investments. Essentially, they're complex, expensive endeavors that sustain a workforce and push technological boundaries, but may not always deliver proportional economic value.
@shanselman The travel mechanics alone kills the game. Too many damn loading screens. Anyway, much better games to play out there… vessels of hatred dropping tomorrow and it’s been reviewed really well.
@nilansaha@Dima_heyqq I’ve been using my Gmail for everything since 2004. Hardly disposable. It’d be great if Gmail had an api to check for reputation score of some kind.
@kviglucci@BenLesh I advocate for PRs to be opened with the first push in draft status. This creates visibility all around, allows to get comments and feedback as you push through, and also people can chill with their expectations until the draft status is removed.
Yup total BS. In my brain I interpreted the imaginary intersection of prime meridian and the equator is something else, almost like the center point of the northern hemisphere — but that doesn’t make sense either, yeah I claim Sunday brain. And a reminder to remain vigilant on google.
@seldo I just realized the link I sourced from is called freedomgpt… and google’s ai summary suggested it. So this could hallucination-ception. Now I need to research this
@seldo Oh I guess you can blame the British “This claim is based on the fact that it lies directly above the intersection of two imaginary lines known as the Prime Meridian and the Equator.”
