Not that i support it, but i don’t understand why people are blaming pumpfun for something humans chose to do?
Pumpfun introduced live and dares, people decided to display the bad side of it as usual, but somehow people are blaming pumpfun instead of focusing on the good side of it.
I’m sure these same people won’t promote someone displaying their talent or doing something educational or funny, humans will be humans, the good and bad will always exist, but somehow we always make the bad more pronounced because we always talk about them more.
Have a lovely day!
The @Spotify team are just so good at what they do that they had to craft a model called the Spotify Model in Agile Project Management so people can study them.
I love how they operate so much, i invest monthly in them just because i love them and how easy they make music accessible, shareable etc. They’re quick to change and adopt new measures with their various scrum teams constantly working round the clock to make it easy for users.
Appreciate the God Factor
God indeed decides who he blesses at his own time, or dare i say at the time you’re self-aware of the path you choose to take?
The last chapter on Making it Big, and man, it’s just beautiful. Waking up in the morning is a gift and we should learn to talk to God and appreciate his blessings upon us.
When God decides to bless your path, you don’t have to do anything more than go for it, the path will clear up as you go, regardless of what any other person says. Everything happens for a reason, nothing is by chance.
Most important thing i picked up from this chapter is that “Events play out to show you your path”… this statement goes really deep, if you think deeply about what led you to where you are currently, you realize it was based on things you decided to do, or who you decided to talk to, or where you decided to go, that alone can change the course of your life.
Ultimately, know what you want to do, and let God clear the path for you, train yourself to be able to seize opportunities, and every other thing shall be added unto you.
“Until next time, keep dreaming…”
Be A Cheerful Giver
Just wow 🤩, it’s beautiful when you learn about the generosity in this world with all the bad that constantly happens around, don’t let just the bad things happening cloud your mind from the good that still happens in the world my dear humans.
Philanthropy echoes the virtue of contentment. What good is all the wealth you amass if you can’t share it? It’s not going with you to the grave, and all the land we end up owning is the land we’re buried in. Don’t let greed have the best of you, always give away your widow’s mite.
More than cleverness, we need kindness.

My Typical Day and Weekend
“It is usually when you become modestly successful, when the necessities of life are no longer a struggle, that you realize you can aim higher and achieve more.”
I have seen this statement written in different ways, one i like more is “when you can cater for your survival (feeding, clothing, housing etc) then your head is clearer and you’re more goal oriented”.
Also, as you start out your entrepreneurial journey, you have to know that, your workload will be extremely high in the early stages and as you grow physically and in your business, you have to create more free time for yourself too.
“You cannot make ambitious plans when you’re struggling.”
Most important part in this chapter was Otedola dishing the real truth about planning. You cannot plan for everything, you shouldn’t be overly focused on every plan, you just need to know what you need to do, create short and long term plans on the major goals, then forge ahead with determination and prayer.
Another thing i picked up from here was when Otedola said he didn’t fully know he would get to this level, he just carried on with his business and seized opportunity where need be. It’s simple, be diligent in your work, and you’re bound to stand before kings, that’s just it.
The world waited 3 days for a transfer. Sui did it in seconds. 🌍⚡
Every month, millions of people send money home and every month, the same system fails them. Hidden fees. Bad exchange rates. Days of waiting. By the time it lands, it’s already less than what was sent.
We accepted it because we had no alternative.
That changes now. 💸
Sui is building the payment infrastructure the world actually needs native stablecoins, SuiUSD, RedotPay, and cross border transfers that settle in seconds for almost zero fees. No middlemen No waiting No excuses.

Indiscipline Will Ruin your Business
Stay on the straight and narrow if you want to succeed in business and in life.
This was a beautiful chapter of a father telling the son things to avoid when you’ve set out a path to walk in life. The sleeping around, abuse of drugs, gambling, these things will hurt your life more than any other thing, if you cannot keep your emotions in check, you’re bound to fail in an endeavor and you’re less trustworthy.
In this generation, we have more people spending lavishly than ever without financial wisdom, apparently, it is a common thing in Nigeria for ages too, there is no respect for the concept of delayed gratification, i have experienced this personally, i had to really struggle through this and make it out. Do NOT spend all your money.
If you’re starting out, it’s best to devote 100% to your business, distractions will do you no good. As you grow, reinvest 80% in your business and use 20% for your wants. It is for a fact impossible to grow if you cannot be accountable.

Engage With Political Authorities
One sentence i got out from reading this chapter was “The Power of Suggestion”
In a developing democratic nation, avoiding politics or not understanding their game as a business owner could ruin your business.
Also, seeing how much impact Otedola made by simply understanding the government and playing a huge role there, it shows how much we can actually change the country if we all sync together rather than blame one person for all the mischief.
The government as a whole obviously don’t want the nation in ruins cause it would be more of a problem, but there are bad actors who give the wrong advice to the rulers just for their own profit, and it shows here, it doesn’t take one man to run a nation, it takes a government, and the people to choose well on that government. If the people cannot choose well, then the people are also faulty.
Everyone benefits from peace and prosperity.

Forgive those who hurt you
Don’t listen to distractors and don’t dwell on distractions people throw up. You will always have enemies, only dead people don’t have adversaries. As long as your heart is still beating, do not be discouraged, believe in yourself, and follow your instincts.
People would do or say anything to actually ruin your image, i remember thinking people who sold generators or people who owned filling stations were the cause of the power supply problem in Nigeria, but you realize it’s really the rumor that was created to shift the blame from the actual problem.
The best revenge is success, many are jealous most of the time, why bother? Not like you can fight all of them. Most of all, learn to forgive, as you sow forgiveness, you reap mercy.
