Former Cherangany MP Kutuny now says he will start using the “Ngopit” slogan if George Natembeya doesn’t stop using “Tawe.”
Maybe someone should explain what Ngopit means, because from the tone, it doesn’t sound like something positive.
But here is what confuses me:
If “Tawe” simply means No, why does saying “No to William Ruto” make some people this angry?
Is the problem really the word?
Or is it the growing political weight behind the man saying it?
Because whether people like it or not, Natembeya is no longer a small political voice. And the reaction to him is proving that.
@Kalasinga_ Murima old monies are obssessed with pick-up trucks generally. Unaona walinunua ya kipchoge in droves and then they accuse us of being tribal. Watukome.

As part of the leadership in Nairobi, you will hear no excuses from me. Yesterday’s flood situation was an indictment. We know it’s a sum total of many failures but mostly failures of leadership. We must do better because you don’t deserve this. For all those who slept on the roads, those counting loses from the flood damage poleni sana. Sadly, the County disaster team has confirmed to me that multiple lives were also lost. My office has sent out teams to assess the situation and see how we can help. Meanwhile, It is obvious that we need a comprehensive review of how the city drains because the piecemeal interventions are not working. I extend my deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones last night. Poleni sana.

@Gideon_Kitheka@mulinge_muteti_ They are good police who even introduced themselves in civilized manner even sharing number plates, during previous regimes those vehicles don't have numbers and kidnap was a total disappearance like river Yala,so say big thank to KK Government and @DCI_Kenya who have changed it.
Those shouting loudest and shedding crocodile tears for Raila Odinga are the same ones who signed unconstitutional Bills into law on the very day he died. Hypocrisy has no shame. RAO would have opposed them if he were to be alive today! #RejectCyberCrimeLaw
