@Arrowhead_Adam The lack of confidence in late DBs could be related to the Merritt arrest. He's been the ace for the Chiefs developing young DBs. If his crime proves to be severe and the Chiefs fire him, that ace is gone. I wonder if the Chiefs changed course with that in mind.
@kkhasissues@bobbystroupe@PatrickMahomes You sat on your pedestal in KC for years. Then you not only got knocked off of it for your Reid take, but you had the whole damn pedestal taken from you. Now you're bitter and want to knock anyone KC places on a pedestal off of it, so everyone is as miserable as you. Just stop.
The Rock posted this on IG yesterday.
“There’s been a thing or two in my life that’s been in the “one day” camp. I woke up this morning and I said “fuck that,” today is “day one.” I am on a mission to get this particular thing done. And I’m gonna get it done.”
The NFL is not rigged and the refs aren’t cheating for the Kansas City Chiefs.
STOP COMPLAINING AND WHINING ABOUT IT. Your favorite team just isn’t good enough to beat the Chiefs in the championship rounds of the game.
Here Are the Chiefs Stats:
-17th in % of scoring drives aided by penalties for a first down in 2024
-8th in roughing the passer penalties called on defenders hitting Mahomes since 2018
-Tied for 1st in offensive holding penalties called against them with 31 in 2024
-Tied for 2nd fewest unnecessary roughness calls in their favor in 2024 with 2
-32 of 61 penalties called against the Chiefs in their last 9 playoff games have been when Patrick Mahomes was not on the field. So it’s not a Mahomes bias.
I have seen some in the playoffs based stats that truly amount to the Chiefs being a more disciplined and fundamentally sound team than their more aggressive counterparts trying to knock them off.
At the end of the day if you want to beat the Chiefs, you have to stop beating yourself and committing league backed and reviewed penalties in the championship moments of the game.

The #Chiefs were a punchline when it came to playoff success for 20 years.
8-straight playoff losses.
No punt game
Lin Elliot
38-10
+ more
Then …
Forward progress
Holding on Fisher
Jones-Brady
They didn’t care about us then, who gives af what they think now? It’s about us.
@Sbadger23 Born in 1985, a month after the Royals won the Series. I vividly remember the 1995 & 1997 heartbreaks, the no-punt game, the blown 38-10 lead and freaking Mariota. I thought for a long time, KC was cursed. But those lows made these highs so much sweeter. WELL worth the wait!
