- the now-owned-by-disney really shows in places, and as someone who is not a huge fan of The Mouse it does make me wonder what the future of the show looks like. (I'm patently ignoring their attempt to reinvent/rebrand as "season 1")

ok so I watched all of the new doctor who season so far and I (predictably) have Thoughts. the short version however is that i liked most of it!! which is more than I was expecting!! hooray!!

- also a bit of freshness on the writing team! my favourite episode of the season (yeah it's THAT one of course it's THAT one) is apparently the first episode in a few years not to be written or co-written by the showrunner. more of that! more fresh blood!
