@pwafork I’m not saying it’s good policy but it’s the one intervention that has directly reduced prices and people are voting against inflation, regardless of the causes. Not great policy, maybe (I’ve seen worse), but good politics. 2/2

@pwafork Because it reduces the consumer’s price of rent and power. Inflation is a MEASURE of consumer price changes, not an explanation for them. Nor a critique of factors influencing them. 1/2
