@shellenberger Still have yet to see my first robot HVAC tech, electrician, plumber, etc.
When Anthropic has their infrastructure fully maintained and run by robots, then maybe I can believe this. These upper management types know nothing about what actually keeps them afloat day to day
@Teknium 1) A turn-level pre/post_turn hook. (pre/post_tool_call fires per-tool, not per-turn)
2) A pre_command middleware to intercept/block slash commands before they hit the agent loop (e.g. /moa persist during sync)
3) MCP tool access from plugin hooks.
@john_john_son67@Ca5per_15@Polymarket I was using it through hermes, though I use vscode as well.
Specifying Grok build is much better on usage than selecting Grok 4.5 that will use build, from what I've seen
This guy notices similar usage with 4.5 as well:

@grok Supergrok weekly limit gets absolutely chewed thru on agent harness like OpenClaw or hermes. 15 minutes and I was maxed out having done no real agentic tasks. What's the point?
@john_john_son67@Ca5per_15@Polymarket Medium. Usage tracker doesn't break it down though.
I had Opus 4.8 High do the same task and it hit 8% on their $20 plan.
Think it was about 2 weeks ago that I hit my first usage limit with Grok $30 plan, before that I never worried. Things have changed for me at least.
@john_john_son67@Ca5per_15@Polymarket I use it, not sure if it's more useful though.
Limits: infinite no longer... it's as bad as Anthropic now, but without the 5hr windows. It reset today, and after asking it 2 minor code questions (verify a couple patches in place) and I'm at 11% for the week already.
@pharout73@WallStreetMav So says some BS metrics. Grok's new usage limits rival Anthropic's
Have you used any of them for real things? I'm a paid subscriber, and Grok is worse than Deepseek (except for vision/videos) in real world use imo
Elon will be successful I'm sure, but right now it's just hype
@michaeld500@WallStreetMav Yeah, Grok sucks pretty bad... idc what graphs non-subscriber people show me. My only use for it now is for vision.
Claude is good, just the usage limits suck. (Grok now as well)
@Chicago_Goofies While walking my dog, I also see lots of dog poop humans didn't pick up from their dog... that or they just toss the full bag someplace
@TechSurfer108@XFreeze Semantics
It also needs to delegate web searching, document creation, running code/heavy computation/math, memory. And who knows what else
When I need something done what does it matter.
@TechSurfer108@XFreeze Nope. Imagine prompt says "type to imagine", it was web based grok, though that was fast mode. Selecting "expert" mode on a second prompt still messed it up.
@DougVincent20@RepNancyMace Think you need to look it up. 'He did not take LSD for 20 straight years (or daily over any long period) specifically "to prove the government wrong." He took small doses occasionally throughout his later life. he attributed his own longevity to diet (raw eggs for breakfast)'
