In my 12th year playing League, I have reached my biggest achievement yet, getting Masters in SoloQ OTPing my favorite champ,Urgot. At Season start I just expected to get back to mid Diamond, but I shot past that very fast, ending with a 11 game streak shooting from D2 to Masters

Now that gambling is being talked a lot about in the League scene because of P*lymarket, I wanna confess something that I haven't said publicly before

I had A SEVERE gambling addiction

From 2018-2022 I would basically gamble every other day

The only money I used in my life at that time was for food, rent and gambling

I didn't really get any enjoyment out of anything else

And because of my undiagnosed ADHD, it most likely made the addiction so much worse

On the worst days, I would quite literally gamble away my rent money

It took my over a year after 2022 to FINALLY be fully out of the loop, and I have be free since

I know the struggles of the addiction, the depression, highs and lows and the money problems and not telling anyone about it

Hell, I told my parents last year I had a gambling problem

I am one of the lucky ones that got out, and it still took a lot of my time and money to do so

I am not trying to be a hall monitor for any company or individual taking these offers. I know the money that's in it. I honestly don't know if I would be the one also taking them if I didn't have these prior experiences

But I do, and I can never take these offers because of it

There are no customers in gambling, only victims

If you have problems with gambling, please, talk to people

That is the first step to making your life normal again
