There’s another shop on etsy that keeps recreating EVERY single widget we put out 😣 music, counter, tasklist, roulette, subathon, one by one. Even branding wise. It’s so demotivating, I’m not sure what to do anymore..

@KitsuneroVT @martinez_code @sayonanii the person is a coder. they were commissioned to code a widget for another etsy seller who we contacted to confirm, but for their privacy we will not name the seller because they are going to remove the item from their etsy shop.

Please beware of commissioning this coder @martinez_code I don't obfuscate my code, because I like letting people customize it if they want to remove borders or change colors, but now I will have to start. He bought a widget I made for @sayonanii and directly copied the code.

@sigmaCW_ @martinez_code @sayonanii yeah, a lot of obfuscators aren't very good and if someone is really determined to they can and will copy. That is why all I can do is warn people to not commission him, so he at least stops profiting off it.
