Excited to share our recent publication evaluating estimations of the glenohumeral joint center against bi-plane fluoroscopy. Really interesting to see how accuracy changed over range of motion:

This International Day of Women and Girls in Science I am contributing to knowledge and supporting those around me. Grateful for @IntWomenBiomech for making sure there are familiar faces at every conference and event, no matter where I am in the world
We're discussing all things AI at our upcoming March IWB meeting. MEMBERS: we want to hear your tips, tricks, and thoughts! Email us a description or recording to [email protected].
We analyzed whole body angular momentum in individuals with transhumeral limb loss, check out how regulation changes as individuals walk with and without their prosthesis

It was so fun to share our research with the @AcademyofOandP clinical care insiders podcast. We spoke about how upper extremity prosthetics may offer holistic biomechanics benefits beyond the explicit function of the prosthesis. https://t.co/oCyCMf8q2r
Are you just starting your graduate school journey? Maybe you’ve been around for a while but are looking for ways to get more out of your time here? Check out this awesome advice from @dunnjuliaa in our new blog post!

We found transhumeral prosthesis use preserved upper body motion more than disuse during gait. It is possible the changes in upper body kinematics are compensatory to preserve gait symmetry. Read more on these findings in our latest publication: https://t.co/bWsfEZDQ9R
Thank you to everyone who attended my defense in person and online! I am thrilled to announce that I passed and have earned my PhD in biomedical engineering!
@AnnaMeierPS There is a great online tool at https://t.co/RsL49mxzOA called the magic todo; it can take a task like “write response to reviewer” and break it down into smaller tasks with time estimates
Attention students! Apply to be an OUR 2024 SPUR Scholar for an intensive 10 wk, full-time summer research experience w/ a U of U faculty, including this project w/ @DDavis_Biomech & @cofhealth@uofu_hk: https://t.co/h7GXpGBxEQ

The IWB Book Club is going strong!! This month we read "Not Just For the Boys: Why we need more women in science" by @AtheneDonald
Thanks to @dunnjuliaa for facilitating and @frajewatson for the book recommendation! Hope we'll see even more of you for our next book club! 📚👩🏫
Sharing my research on upper extremity kinematics with socket suspended prostheses during reaching tasks at @ISBiomechanics meeting was an amazing opportunity to connect with fellow researchers
