An academic who accused the late Cambridge professor Jason Arday of plagiarism has been suspended from his post at a Belgian university.
Nathan Cofnas, a self-defined "race realist", was among those to question Arday's work and achievements prompting a weeks-long plagiarism row prior to his death on 14 August.
Cofnas said he was under investigation by Ghent University "for discriminating against Arday".
The university said a staff member had been notified of a "preliminary disciplinary investigation" and suspended as a precaution.
This is a different Christianity. It's called Anthropocentric Christianity. It's a very unfortunate evolution of the faith from Christocentricity to being human centered.
It's not about the gospel. It's not about Christ. It's not about God. It's all about men and their inflated ego.
You cannot be a genuine Christian and not be irritated at this.
On Friday 14th August, I paid homage to the Palace of the Alayegun of Odeomu, the Paramount Ruler of Odeomu, HRH Oba James Bola Oladipupo, Idi Asa I.
During the visit, the Palace Chiefs spoke glowingly about my father’s legacy. It got me deeply emotional.
I miss my darling father so much 💙. He was a great man; gave to everyone. He gave me everything. I always cry when I visit his grave. I pray that his soul will continue to rest in peace 💙.
There are no permanent friends or enemies in politics only permanent interests.
It’s a lesson many learn the hard way, but one that never stops proving true.
Glenn Gibbins, the @reformparty_uk councillor charged in relation to an alleged offensive social media post, is due to appear at South Tyneside Magistrates Court on Friday 21st August.
He faces a charge under the Communications Act 2003 relating to an alleged “grossly offensive” social media post targeting the Nigerian community.
It would be encouraging to see representation from the Nigerian High Commission @Nigerialondon and members of the Nigerian community present at the court to show support and to observe the proceedings.
