If you reread the comments on Murad's Token2049 presentation (which btw, is the best performing speech in Token2049's history by an order of magnitude), you will see that just 2 short years ago, people were dying to escape crypto's previous trap: Insider-Bundled VC "Utility" Tokens.

Today, that same scam exists: it's just been rebranded as "the trenches." In this new scam, the VCs & suits have been replaced with get-rich-quick schemers promising you the world while they dump on your head.

If we really want to see an end to this type of behavior, we have to unite around one (it could be a few, but let's say one for simplicity) token.

It's that simple. We must show people that returns are made from holding and believing, not from scalping.
