👇
Policy inception since Nov 2023.
Admitted: 24/01/2026
Discharged: 21/02/2026
Total Claim Amount: ₹58,00,000/- +
First, they approached Star Health for the claim.. Star Health rejected it.
Then they applied through their Group Policy, where around ₹11,00,000/- was paid.
Remaining claim amount submitted to Star Health: ₹47,00,000/- and they rejected.
Surprised that in the past, Star Health approved claims of around ₹2 Lakhs in December , but when the liability increased to ₹50 Lakhs, diseases become more critical things changed.
One family is already going through emotional, mental, and financial pain..
👉 I request everyone to repost and comment so that Srijani gets justice.
Justice for Srijani.

The most expensive part of a hospital bill may never touch the hospital at all.
A patient admitted for care has no way of knowing whether the price on a medical consumable reflects its actual cost or a markup fixed long before it ever reached the ward. That gap in information is, at its core, a public health issue.
A survey of hospital consumables in Maharashtra found an IV infusion set with a trade price of ₹11.05 carrying a printed MRP of ₹325 ; a markup of 2,841%. A syringe procured at ₹6.75 carried an MRP of ₹57.20. A catheter procured at ₹29.41 carried an MRP of ₹310.
These are not elective purchases. Patients cannot compare prices, seek alternatives, or question a number printed on a box while receiving care and the MRP itself is often fixed upstream by manufacturers and distributors, disconnected from the trade price by a wide, unexplained margin. The result is a system where the party bearing the cost has the least information to evaluate it.
The regulatory gap is structural: scheduled medicines are capped under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. Most medical devices and consumables are not leaving both the pricing and the information around it almost entirely unmonitored.
A review of these findings and clear guidelines on the permissible gap between trade procurement price and declared MRP have been recommended to the Department of Pharmaceuticals and the NPPA ; a step toward closing not just a pricing gap, but the information gap patients are left to bear alone.

You live in India.
You buy US stocks through an Indian broker.
You assume your family will simply inherit them.
There is one risk many Indian investors don’t think about: US estate tax.
For many non-US investors, the federal estate-tax exemption for certain US-situs assets can be only $60,000 (roughly ₹50 lakh), with estate-tax rates going as high as 40%.
And the tax is based on the value of the assets at death, not simply on your investment gains.
So an Indian investor holding ₹4–5 crore of directly held US assets could potentially have a very different inheritance-tax problem than they expected.
The broker being Indian doesn’t automatically change where the underlying asset is situated for US estate-tax purposes.
If you’re building a serious US portfolio, don’t just ask:
How much can I make?
Also ask:
What happens to this money when I’m no longer here?

India is about to see one of the biggest transfers of family wealth.
Around ₹110 to 130 lakh crore (roughly $1.3 trillion) could change hands between generations over the next decade.
But here’s the uncomfortable part:
PwC India found that only 21% of family businesses had a robust, documented and communicated succession plan.
We spend years teaching children how to earn money.
Very few families teach them how the family wealth was created, where it is invested, who owns what, or what happens when the founder is no longer around.
Building wealth is one job.
Making sure the next generation can preserve it is another.

In an emergency, people don't touch LIC, FD or gold.
They instantly sell mutual funds because they are easy to redeem.
Easy liquidity kills compounding. 🙂
Just got off the phone with a customer who needs an MRI for investigation.
Same area. Three private hospitals. Three wildly different prices:
🏥 Hospital 1: ₹19,000
🏥 Hospital 2: ₹11,000
🏥 Hospital 3: ₹21,000
That’s a ₹10,000 difference for the same investigation.
How is this acceptable?
With no effective regulation or standard pricing, patients are left to navigate a healthcare marketplace where the cost can vary by almost 2X.
Healthcare shouldn’t be a guessing game.
The government needs better regulation of these hosptials
Some of them are just pushing affordable healthcare out of reach of common man.
As per an analysis done on 21 years of data by Abakkus Mutual Fund
• If you stayed invested, your CAGR is 13.67%
• If you timed the market & just missed only the best 10 market days - your CAGR dropped to single digit at 9.75%
Summary: Missing a tiny fraction of the best market days drastically reduces your CAGR across large, mid & small indices.

Problem with things like silver is: you can't assess its revenue growth, cash flows, product launches etc.
You are just speculating.
Sometimes, you will win; sometimes you will lose.
But, if you don't learn to take profits out. OR you constantly chase assets in FOMO, you are guaranteed to lose over time.

You pay ₹5,000 locker rent but the bank’s liability is only ₹5 lakh.
I found a way to keep ₹50 lakh worth of gold safer for half the cost with bank.
Make one change and the bank takes full responsibility for your gold.👇🏻
