After a month and a half of work, Thryve is officially live on Product Hunt!

I’d love your support and I’d really appreciate hearing what you think.

After two weeks of planning, I managed to create a plan to acquire users in my unique niche; and the trial run wasn’t too bad 👀 gotta keep iterating and we’ll get to that 100 user mark in no time

@PanosThe9 Yeah people try and optimize aimlessly, instead of just viewing what works or not through GA. And it’s free, so there’s really no reason not to

If you haven’t already, USE GOOGLE ANALYTICS! You can’t optimize what you can’t measure, and I know exactly where my users are coming from, where they’re falling off, and how to keep them.

Once you get past the rush of actually building a product, all that’s left is the long road ahead to market it. This phase makes or breaks you. Which is it gonna be? 🤔

I launched on Product Hunt last week.

No viral moment, no front-page, etc.
But I still walked away with something valuable.

Thryve landed at #69 out of 300+ products that day.
From that came:
• 10+ new users
• 1 paying customer
• A wave of helpful feedback

Biggest win? I tightened my value prop and walked away with a clearer marketing strategy.

It forced me to tighten my messaging, rethink my value prop, and double down on what makes Thryve different.

If you’re on the fence about launching, do it. Nothing will bring you more insights than people roasting your product. I learned which pain points to address, which is invaluable in giving users more confidence in their purchase.

@JupiterAna93211 I’ll be reworking the copy and content surrounding the product, which should better address the pain points and concerns the initial users have expressed! This will hopefully help convert previously hesitant users into subscribers!

Okay all in all, pretty darn good launch yesterday. Even with Google’s terrible timing, we got new users, feedback, and ready to keep pushing.

Getting your first real users feels amazing! Like your idea is actually real now. Launch day has been really motivating

@webnowdev I’ve learned A LOT through posting on Reddit regarding people’s initial pain points and reservations with the app. I’ve set up a feedback form that users can fill out, and I also plan on reaching out to the users asking for their specific feedback!
