McClellan wasn't perfectly chummy with Lincoln, but you also must realize that he was a West Pointer.

@ArmedJ0y The man involved was told to "Stop" and drop the gun. He refused to comply and, only knowing that he shot someone and was actively running into a building, Colorado police responded as they should have.
It was self-defense on the one end, and a lawful-shoot on the officer's end.
