Blatant racism/transphobia aside I was disappointed this person was fake and outright clout chasing. It makes me feel jaded that some people really view it like a competition

I'm so shocked and appalled at all the information I've learned about someone I considered a friend of mine. After meeting this individual at AFO I considered them an individual i would continue to find joy in hanging out with personally, and have since then. To find out they stand in opposition of my own beliefs has absolutely shattered me to the core because I would have never in a million years guessed that of them and their character.

I want it known that I do not believe or share in the opinions and views of this individual, especially as a native, queer individual that identifies non-binary and is not built "model thin". I will always show up and stand up for my marginalized groups and friends as we are all holding hands in this together.

While this individual has stated their reasons for spreading this hatred, I believe it is part of their character and should not be overlooked. If someone truly doesn't feel that way they would not be saying it with such vitriol and conviction even in private. Even to "fit in" I would not appeal to such abhorrent ideals and blatant human disregard based solely on the color of skin or size of body.

My message to them: Do better. You were surrounded by people who truly cared about you and your well-being and you dug a knife into their back to appeal to degenerates who will do the same to you when given the chance. I want nothing but good for you, but you have to desire it for yourself first. These are not the people you want supporting you as they will only further bring hate and hurt into your life by dragging you down with them. Be more than your hate.
