I have been using X (Former Twitter) account for almost 14 years. It has never been hacked. But whenever I verified my ID, the account was hacked that day. Even though I had two-factor authentication on. I could not log in without the Google Authenticator app. I was under stress until the moment I got my account back.

As an American Journalist, a World Traveler and an IT professional, From my limited experience, I can say that there is a group within X or the payment platform Link who is involved in this hack. Otherwise, was it hacked just after applying for premium?

X authorities should look into their weak security measures.
