The Liberal government gave Stellantis $105 million to keep the Brampton Ont auto plant open and to save 2200 jobs. As per contract, the company has given the union the required 1 year notice that they are thinking of selling or closing the currently shutdown plant. 2200 jobs may be lost along with 10000s of feeder or secondary jobs. Perhaps those spending 24 hours a day critcizing Pierre P should spend 24 hours a day going after the Liberal government for this potential failure.

A student visa is a temporary document to study in Canada. That was always understood.

Our universities and colleges were built by Alberta taxpayers, first and foremost for Alberta students. Where there is room for international students, the terms are simple. Earn your education, then return home to build a life with it.

Rules are what make a fair system fair and our country needs to return to an immigration process that respects the rules.
