“The Worlds loneliest Orangutan”.
Opal is an orangutan that has been held hostage alone In a cage for over 45 years. The zoo where she’s kept has treated her poorly. They have allowed visitors to harass her, bully her and even throw trash at her as some sort of “entertainment”.
Now the people have seen enough, a foundation has started a petition to finally let her free and be able to enjoy her remaining years of life in a happy enclosure, with family, with proper care.
The petition now holds over 85,000 signatures in a very short amount of time and the movement isn’t getting any slower.
We have reached out to @BAT_S_A to be able to help make the change necessary to finally free Opal from her cruel reality.
we will help Opal get a second chance at life!!
It started with a brutal real-world tragedy.
Eight men were arrested in Rio de Janeiro after viciously attacking an innocent #capybara with wooden sticks and iron bars. The gentle giant suffered multiple blows to the head and body — yet it survived.
The video spread like wildfire. Outrage turned into empathy. People began to care.
Now, the community has stepped up.
$CAPYBARA is officially a #CTO — a true community takeover.
Holders are now in contact with the wildlife recovery center caring for the injured capybara, with plans to support its rehabilitation through donations.
This isn’t just another meme coin. It’s about turning viral attention into real-world impact.
From senseless cruelty… to collective strength.
From shock and sadness… to growing momentum.
From recovery… to a movement.
This is how communities — and narratives — are born.
