@AtoZ_Payton Lions pressures don’t matter. Pressure is coming a lot from blitzing (except Hutch), which leaves the secondary on islands. And the secondary is not talented enough to be successful in most cases or they are confused & not in the correct spot.

@AtoZ_Payton 😆, so that makes no sense.
Maybe it’s putting players in positions to win, disguising the blitz, or fake the blitz. Instead of blitzing 7 while the secondary is 10 or 15 yards off the ball in the softest man coverage on planet earth in the red zone.
@AtoZ_Payton Lions asked for paycut, they need to make the team better. He didn’t want a paycut. He asked for release. Lions granted release. FA value is low. And now he is upset they don’t want to talk with him. Huh
Lions paid him quite well over the years.
@AtoZ_Payton How does this pressure stat work? On a particular play, if all 4 guys are rushing the QB creating pressure, do each of individual get 1 pressure for a total of 4 or does it count as 1 pressure? The Lions problem is that got one guy creating all the pressure.
@AtoZ_Payton Quick pressure might not equate to sacks all the time, but it leads to poor QB decision making, ruins timing on throws, and tremendously helps pass coverage. Lions rely too much on Hutch to do everything, one off game from him and D is dismantled.
@AtoZ_Payton Didn’t Hutch account for 60% of the pressures in 2025. Lions are too reliant on one guy to do all the work.
Did the Lions have any sacks against the Packers this season?
@KyleBrandt@Lions@NFL@nflnetwork@gmfb You should take it with Sewell every year & in 15 years we can see the timeline. It’s not like he won’t be there every year.
