TLDR: I'm stepping back from writing about VTubers once I finish my current backlog. Not forever, but definitely a hiatus.
I'm not taking on new projects unless the topic really interests me.
VTubing ate me whole and spat me out, and I need time to recover and re-energise ✌️
@Hiraxxx_ I'm very happy to hear you are safe. Every day I'm so glad I got you as my VTuber parent. I hope you're able to live in peace going forward and keep making amazing art :)
This is pretty hard for me to post, I'm not good at asking for help.
But tldr I can't currently pay my rent/bills.
I know times are hard, but if you're able to help at all, I would appreciate it.

My best friend has been hit by everything imaginable in the last few months or so. It would mean the world if you could support him - with your viewership, follow or money. He has juggled content with full-time work for years and deserves a break.
Hey, do you want (possibly) DAYS of Mika streams? Well, I'm going to do an uncapped donathon for exactly that!
Starting tomorrow!!! 6th Aug, 12pm AEST🗓️
We'll start with 12 hrs on the timer, and see where it leads us! 🌻⏳

I have nothing but respect for the (now-ex) VShojo talents and staff I interviewed and knew.
I don't want to call everything evil. But I hope the whistleblowing support inspires others to speak up to get industry change going.
Silence only empowers this conduct.
I had to leave early to make my flight but every time I come to one of these concerts, it reminds me of why I was drawn to VTubing in the first place.
Also the hololive 3D has really improved since DHMEL. Can't tell if it was because of the screens or not, but they were smooth.
A true changing of the guard is happening in VTubing with all these graduations. It's bittersweet to see.
I hope we can celebrate those who move on gracefully while giving those trying to break through the same positive energy we did as a community years ago.
Fulgur's grad is hitting me hard.
Now I've got less skin in the game: he was one VTuber I desperately wanted to interview. His unique way of storytelling, his camaraderie inside NIJI EN, his fandom's love; it's all special.
He's truly one of a kind.
His future will be bright.
@HollyJollyPaca I think this industry change is a really good opportunity for those fan publications to shine. Hololive Today, Nijinuggets, Avaletter - even NewsDrop and Acapella (despite not being aligned with any one fan base) - all do good work. Listen to those who actually watch.
People will look at what's happening in VTuber news and think there's a brain drain.
But just because the 'bigger people' are 'leaving' doesn't mean it is dead.
The best reporting comes from fans. There's an abundance of small newsletters and accounts to follow. Support them.
