F*ckin Spectacled Eider on Texel!! Stressful drive from Groningen, but managed to tick it in the last light. #351 (CSNA) or #341 (IOC) for my Texel list, but definitely the most memorable one yet!
Grey-tailed Tattler has been on the Beacon Ponds radar for a while now, so it was well nice to get a refresher course, especially in flight and hearing the call. Bring on the WeBS!

well done Enviromental board for rejecting the proposal to allow Lynx hunting this winter. No Lynx hunting in Estonia since 2014. I´m very proud of this.
@john_malloy@NTBirdClub@BirdGuides This looks to be the same individual that was present on 29 Oct - 2 Nov on Terschelling, The Netherlands (discovered by Dutch birder Christian Brinkman). Pics of that bird here: https://t.co/HePWoRvuND
I was asked to be in Spithami seawatch team today. Oh boy, I´m glad that I said yes. Close male Stejneger´s Scoter - my first in wp @TarsigerTeam@BirdGuides
I don't chase many birds, but I couldn't resist this one. Ontario's 2nd ever Black-tailed Gull. This mega from 🇯🇵🇷🇺 is a major rarity in North America & a stunner of a gull!

East/North-eastern winds brought Whinchat and Spotted crake as new species for the patch (the latter found by another birder). Also a nice groupof Little gulls, wagtails and he first big numbers of waterfowl made for a nice autumn vibe.

Hard S/W winds and tormenting rains brought a halt to an other ways thrilling 10 day Sklyge IV #NJN summer camp.
With Wryneck, L-T Duck, Great Skua, several Sooty shearwaters and some minimal stilt migration as the only noteworthy observations
I am very proud of the farmer at todays site. 5 years ago there was one pair of Yellowhammers at this site and the hedgerow was a metre high and see-through and the grass was like a bowling green. I gave them some advice. They now have 6 pairs of Yellowhammers and a superb hedge!
