@CTVToronto Day 15 and counting of dead raccoon carcass festering on my lawn @oliviachow. What a joke for my property taxes. Time to dump it somewhere else

@anna_b93@rwesthead Not saying toradol doesn’t have a side effect profile to consider; this article however frames it as a contributor to opioid dependence when in fact it is often used to avoid the risk associated with opioids
@TSNHockey@rwesthead ER MD here @tsnHockey important raising the issue of opioid use in sports but this article frames toradol as a problem, a medication which is in fact an NSAID (like Advil) and not an opioid. A treatment used to avoid opioid prescribing.
@glbryson @GianniLorelll Can’t compare to prepandemic mortality. Would argue can’t even compare to non-Covid pts during pandemic which wasn’t done. If you have COVID and are approved OR in this climate, you likely are quite sick or potential to be be in near future. How does this pop do w/o OR?
@celliottability@CPHO_Canada T.O. ER MD here:
Glad to hear capacity for liberal testing of symptomatic.
As reopening approaches, we need strong guidance on approach to asymptomatic as well. Seeing many in ED already for “well notes”/documented neg swabs despite Sx-free before return to work.
