It's easier, faster, and cheaper to get to downtown Toronto from Pearson than it is to get to Midtown NYC any of the 3 major NYC airports and every conservative in this discourse is conveniently forgetting this
The craziest thing about World Cup month is realizing where you were in life during the last one. Shit I still remember watching my first World Cup game ever. A 4-year gap means your job, your relationship status, your friends, and your entire life situation are completely different, but you're sitting watching a random group stage game at 1 AM on a Tuesday. Football is a time capsule.

@_tenZdhon_ other gems in toronto:
- corner crepe co for authentic jianbing
- pho linh for (arguably) best pho in downtown toronto
- zen sanuki udon for best udon (raku is closer to downtown as a second option)
- sugo, lao lao bar, som tum jinda, list goes on
@_tenZdhon_ toro toro is mega overrated (all presentation and 0 taste imo)
zen kyoto is lowkey a crazy hidden gem. a bit harder to find since it's in the path but the fish quality is MILES better than toro toro.
kingyo fisherman's market is also a great second option
@writerofscratch@Sway12243476 ito is so pretty! it has a surprising amount of tourists , maybe since its close to tokyo? so lots come on day trips/bus tours
