@alexjsryder @LxJffrs We have an Eero mesh Wifi kit of 3. We got it a couple of years ago when it was £40 cheaper in a sale. There might be a better option around like Google’s mesh kit.

If I have any advice: get a purpose built mesh set rather than try to use extenders with your existing Wifi.

I’d rather it started with 20 mins of standing around making small-talk as everyone slowly arrives, the DM sweating as they hurriedly makes last-minute battle tables, then an hour for dinner. It ends with everyone visibly exhausted but determined to finish the encounter.

Is there a name for the sort of ad for a mobile game where it shows you a physical version of the game, usually something with text like ‘only people with 120 IQ can do this’?

I saw one of these for the years old Two Dots a few weeks ago. It didn’t mention the name of the game so when I was intrigued by the look of the game (not the promise that I had a slightly higher than average IQ!) I was disappointed to see it was the game I got bored of in 2014.

For some reason I’m watching Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Wow, it’s aged like salmon in a cupboard. Not that it was good to start with, but between the graphics like a PS2 cutscene and Jar-Jar Binks’ catchphrase ‘how wude’, everything feels stilted.

@rostfritt @Wiglette Also, still angry about this somehow, it was not cheap and they were still living there with their shitty old dog. It was during a break from dog sitting. I felt like an unwelcome guest who had turned up to visit during major renovations.

@rostfritt @Wiglette I think the worst one I stayed in was in the house of a Bristol hipster sign painter whose bed was so completely fucked I neither slept or moved without pain for a month. Also no shower, just a shower hose on an unscreened bath.
