The answer would be simply don't bang the guy at the bar immediately. But women don't want to deprive themselves of this option so now they find themselves in the predicament where they aren't trusted for making guys wait, but are also devalued for giving it up too early.
Most of this topic has been talked to death. The aspect that hasn't is how this behavior has destroyed the social compact between the sexes.
This is the big new shift in the cultural narrative: the last whiff's of female sanctity to men is gone. That's why the "call a car" discourse grosses out guys so much. Women cannot expect to be treated like madonnas's when they've lacked the sexual self-restraint required to actually be one.
This dissonance in their self-image and the implications of what women have done to their status in the west are just beginning to be understood by them. You can only have your cake and eat it too for so long.
@TheHeroesForge I’ve have never. I noticed that the lead pastor at my Non-Denominational Church didn’t preach the full verse about wives submitting to their husbands *in everything* that part got left out.
When an elder got on stage to make an announcement later he finished the statement lol
Men not only have a greater physical capacity for work, but the surest way for a man to implode is for him to have "idle hands." That's why stay at home dads don't find keeping the house or watching kids to be particularly challenging.
Once upon a time parents used to tell their daughters, “You’re not leaving the house dressed like that.”
Now parents post pictures of their daughters dressed like that.
At least have the decency to be ashamed.
Complimenting strangers is nice way to put a little good into the world. The young woman at the store checkout was a brunette with the most gorgeous green eyes. As we left, I stopped and turn and said you have the most beautiful eyes and she was visibly flustered and thanked me.
If you want people to grant you grace when you make entirely avoidable, ridiculous and painful mistakes, be sure to discipline yourself and resist the urge to humiliate them when they mess up. An uncharitable nature invites humiliation when you err, but grace begets grace.
When I talk about husbands aligning expectations of their wives with the time and resources they provide - this is what I mean.
In the average household, if you expect your wife to be the primary chef, maid, and nanny while staying as fit and feminine as the women you ogle on Instagram, that won’t happen if she also works part-time, let alone full-time - unless you outsource things like childcare and cleaning - and depending on how much income she adds to the household, that may not even make financial sense.
Even without her having a job, you’ll probably need to prioritize what you care most about, because she still won’t get everything done to the highest standard if you have kids in the home.
I’m not saying this to shame anyone - I know it’s ridiculously expensive for two people just to get by, let alone raise a whole family. I’m saying be realistic and prioritize within the resources and time you have and adjust as more time and resources become available to you.
Personally, if it were me, I’d prioritize whatever keeps the marriage sexy and fun over whether the top of the fridge gets dusted more than once every six months. -R
If you’re a woman online worried about angry men I’d suggest immigration be your number one issue. Third worlders are not going to listen to your complaints about misogyny and our men are going to need to get very angry to fix things. Forgive them if being mean online happens.
