@searlebaseball Yes sir. If they could re-sign Holmes, I dare say that's one hell of a start to your 2027 rotation that may just then need depth moves to fill it out.
@searlebaseball Yeah it really makes you wonder what could have been. Peralta not pitching like a top of the rotation guy and Holmes getting injured absolutely crushed them. And betting big on Robert, Semien, and Polanco to all stay healthy it was a little overkill.
@searlebaseball Not only do I think they should not trade Weaver, I think Weaver and Williams should flip-flop roles. I think that's the only way Williams being a part of this equation in 2027 makes sense.
@OfficialTAZ I think you re-sign Holmes. He wants to be here and has proven he can produce on this stage. Him, Scott, McLean, and Thornton would be one hell of a head start on the 2027 rotation
@OfficialTAZ Agreed, like the guys said tonight, you have to keep something in place for next season. Makes a lot more sense to move pending free agents like Minter and Raley, maybe sell high on Brazoban.
@chrisclark141@NYGNYM86NYR94@just_mets@michaelgbaron@richmacleod Didn't disprove shit. Actually proved that you were incapable of a reasonable discussion, like I initially tabbed you. And all I ever said was that the Brandon backlash pai
led in comparison to what Francisco is getting right now. You're the one raising hypotheticals.
@chrisclark141@NYGNYM86NYR94@just_mets@michaelgbaron@richmacleod ... Than we disagreed on sitting side by side with a cold beverage of our choice. Shitty behavior is shitty behavior, and I'm not interested in mimicking the same shitty behavior just because beliefs and values may be shifted. It's counterproductive.
@chrisclark141@NYGNYM86NYR94@just_mets@michaelgbaron@richmacleod Again, I did in a separate tweet which you may have gotten to after you responded. I'm just not interested in delving into political and policy differences that guys like you and me may never agree on behind a keyboard, but would probably overwhelmingly agree on more things...
