@PHepden@bbcquestiontime I’m still at pains to know why Dorries is still trawled out to hold forth on LK show and QT. She was barely relevant as an MP what function does she serve now other than parody?
@SamWhyte The scrutiny of alleged benefit fraud, conducted by the agency, appointed by the Government concluded in fact that PIP represented 0% in actual fraudulent claims. Not the inflated figures promulgated by the ignorant.
@Dr_Bekka_UK@RachelReevesMP Crocodile tears. She has shown her true colours. I am not impressed and bemused by her naivety unless it’s a charade of course.
@ITVNewsPolitics He should have some shred of decency and hold a public meeting with all the respective disability lobby groups and their representatives. Go toe to toe with Liz Carr et al and present his distorted vision of discriminatory politics. See how he fares. I hope they annihilate him.
I’d urge Labour MPs to read Frances Ryan’s article before they respond to Government’s green paper if it includes the reported cuts to disability benefits. Frances consistently articulates the feelings of disabled people & the majority of Labour supporters https://t.co/0WnFsm9Ado
For those cheering for cuts to disability benefits, remember, you could become disabled tomorrow. Your child could become disabled, your partner could at any time. No one chooses to be disabled or chronically ill, it just happens. #DisabilityBenefits
@DavidPintoD I’ve worked for 35 years plus years when I was a teen ineligible for contributions. I’ve cared for both my parents and find myself shoring up a social care system again, caring for in laws. I have a longer wait for my state pension and you cretins just whacked my PIP. F**k you!
You are spreading vile lies and misinformation about the chronically ill and disabled.
The DWP's fiscal policies are both flawed and counterproductive.
The government’s focus should be on improving the way these benefits are managed rather than on denying support to those in need.
The DWP threw close to half a million pounds in a single court case in an attempt to defend its dangerous plans to deny hundreds of thousands of claimants their vital health-related benefits.

Disabled activist Ellen Clifford won the case against the DWP in mid-January. Specifically, the court judge ruled that the DWP had acted unlawfully in how it had conducted the 8-week consultation.
Labour shamelessly chose to continue with the case – when it could have settled with Clifford out of court instead.
Tax the rich, problem sorted.

@MarkB4houghton@KirstieMAllsopp I think you have a point but a little of farming equipment is leased and/ or shared, Rural crime also affects insurance.
@xaeromancer@KirstieMAllsopp@Hairyloon I believe there is a limit on value of gifts per person. Per annum. Unless, they are wealthy enough to ring fence it, this stagnates growth
@snowdropbooks@paulkhammond@tstarkey1212 I always felt that it was a segue into prescriptivist lessons, which required less reflection and adjustment according to students’ assimilation. Thus an ideal opportunity for mass produced, prepared corporate materials.
Dull, expensive and less need for teacher input.
@khp_oc94@warwickmansell Sorry I’m out of practice.. but within the context of the classroom, teachers were afforded autonomy to design the lessons to enable, facilitate growth, stimulate and encourage enjoyment of learning, which for many was a new experience. This is cruel, baseless and inhibitory.
@khp_oc94@warwickmansell I beg to differ, slightly. Having taught in a fairly regimented, behaviourist EBD (pre- altered terminology) the premise was for those kids to understand the consequences of their behaviour, particularly how hurtful to others they’d been (causal factors acknowledged)
@RaeCX@warwickmansell What would we know eh? The only time I’d do this is with a very hefty tome or NF text requiring analysis. Why does this idiot assume the two are synonymous ?
@RishiSunak A tiny voice in a huge echo chamber. Desperate actions of a sycophant seeking affirmation. We know the contempt you have for us, yet still you claim to know what we want. How?
@DeborahMeaden I don’t know if the oyster beds have recovered but they were previously contaminated with sewage. There for generations. What a shame the tidal waters don’t flow up to the Suffolk coastline to welcome Coffey in her early am ‘dip’
