Recruits I was told by my mentor a long time ago-

“Trust everyone but cut the cards.”

Guys being sold pipe dreams and buying it.

“You’re the missing piece.”

“We’re getting better.”

“Come earn money.”

1. No single player is turning around 0-10.

2. One bad season is an outlier, but a decade plus of being in the basement is who that place is.

3. Ask that coach “how many guys on the current roster that are on scholarship came in as walk ons?” And ask to speak to those guys.

Some programs are PRETENDERS and some are CONTENDERS. Everyone has hope this time of year but numbers speak for themselves!
