Kiser opened up in an interview for the first time following the death of her three-year-old son, Trigg.
Her husband, Brady, was initially recommended by police for a felony charge of child abuse; however, prosecutors later stated he would not be charged.
Brady says he was distracted by their 5-week-old baby when he lost track of Trigg. The boy was in the water for seven minutes before he was recovered.
