I want to first thank @davidsonday for the opportunity to lead this program the last 2 seasons. I can’t put into words how grateful I am for the relationships I have built over the course of these last couple years. Those will last forever! Having a part in seeing multiple kids go to college and putting Davidson Day on the National Stage I couldn’t be more proud. Also very blessed to have been able to Coach some talented and exceptional kids! If you're looking for a defensive stat that is arguably the most PREDICTIVE stat in basketball, it's 3 STOPS IN A ROW.

This isn't a stat you'll find on https://t.co/EgCrXMm7eT or https://t.co/VR8iz3v3fI but according to Mike Brey, who religiously tracked 3 stops in a row, win % is ~ 90% when you accomplish this 7 TIMES in a game.

Build your defensive around stringing together consecutive stops. This allows for better scoring opportunities, gives you the ability to micro manage your defense during the game and most importantly provides a ton of ENERGY.
