Happy birthday, Marines. On this November 10th we celebrate those who fought before us with an eye toward the fights we’ll win tomorrow. Semper Fidelis.
Against unexpected, unpredictable and unrelenting threats to our Nation’s future, it is our Marines who find a way to win. Through constant training, Marines develop the unbeatable skillset and adaptable mindset to become our Nation’s greatest asset on ever-changing battlefields.
Some of what you seek can be found online, but for Marines, the things that matter most must be fought for: a true sense of purpose that comes from knowing you’re part of something bigger than yourself, and belonging that’s only found among those who share a common cause.
In recognition of #PRIDE2020 and the 10th anniversary of the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, the Marine Corps recognizes our LGBTQ+ service members, reflects upon the past, and salutes their contributions to the Corps and winning our Nation's battles. Semper Fi.
“If I lose fans, that’s okay. I’ve always spoken my mind. And that’s from the heart.”
