Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud on Threads following the incident with Enes Kanter last night:
"To every trans kid/person,
You are apart of MY community & tribe. You belong. You’re loved. You’re seen. You’re perfect as you are.
& you will always be protected by me."
look, Deshaun Watson is a terrible person, and he's actively antagonizing the loyal Browns fans still willing to pay money to see this team, and he's not a part of the future of the franchise, and he's untradeable.
But you've gotta admit: He's also absolutely awful at football
Yall be wanting players to ignore ignorance & that’s the problem. Everyone not scared to open their mouths. Shout out to those women in Chicago name DiJonai Carrington & Natasha Cloud.
And I will say more because today I am PISSED. The moment there was absolute silence about the hate Angel Reese was receiving, all of this was legitimized. They let that young woman suffer YEARS of racism and misogyny alone, which opened the door for what we’re seeing today. The WNBA was completely unable to handle its enhanced visibility and downplayed the effects of its silence. Certain things need to be addressed directly, named properly, or they will become whatever people want.
I’m so fucking frustrated. It’s ALWAYS a game of this team. It’s always a supporter or someone who was drawn by a player of this team. We’re not dumb and we can’t be gaslit. It’s not only online trolls, and y’all do know about all of that. Being silent is being complacent.
Good jerb Fire Emblem, you single-handedly did the one thing Western devs refuse to do while they proclaim diversity: Set the game in fictional north AFRICA based on Carthage/Ancient Rome. I'm looking at you Ubisoft.
real tears in my eyes bro if someone talked about me like this ???? as a professional athlete ???? unironically??? like it was a compliment???? I would jump 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I worked a job I hated for almost 4 years because I couldn’t get a job in my field. My mental health was the worst it has ever been. I was at an all-time low, and I couldn't get out of that headspace. I felt like a failure.
I interviewed for a job in my field back in May. Just that interview changed my perspective. Everything started shifting. My mental health got better. I started caring about my future again. I got a call in July, and I got the job! I became excited to get out of bed. I’m back at the gym. I’m working towards getting my body back. I’ve lost 10lbs so far. I feel like myself again after all of these years.
I’m happy.
It gets better. It will just take time
