.@JamesTalarico to Joe Rogan: My principal told me I was going to teach this kid named Justin, who had brought a knife to school. I told him I wanted to get to know him. We started to build a rapport. Right before winter break, he brought me this gift — a snowflake that he had bought at the Dollar Tree for his teacher.
I came back after winter break and heard this commotion. There were two of our coaches restraining Justin. That was the last time I ever saw him. Justin had been seeing a therapist provided by the school district, but because of budget cuts, the district had eliminated the therapist.
Adults he was trying to trust were abandoning him. That was the radicalizing experience for me. People at the state capitol had cut $5 billion from our schools. I promised myself that if I ever got power I would do everything I could to stop that. Justin and my students are the criteria I use to evaluate public policy.
Jordan Love's 2nd half of the season rankings across the league:
- Passing TDs (18) - #1
- TDs (20) - T-#1
- Passing yards (2,238) - #1
- Completions (183) - #3
I think the narratives are over. The #Packers starting QB has proven he can play some serious high level football.
If the eagles make a D coordinator move from first place, what is stopping the packers from doing so while trying to get a wildcard spot? Make it make sense.
So…. Another 15 years of incredible quarterback play, one Super Bowl, 13 years of the most heartbreaking playoff losses you can imagine and a messy divorce at the end?
