You want the young n exciting team (2nd youngest in the league!) but you don't want to go through the process of highs n lows 🤷♂️
I guess you want to be ManUtd, who doesn't have enough patience n keep restarting and not Liverpool under Klopp, who only started winning after 3yrs.
Looks like we've finally found the one in Spalletti. He builds the system, instills calm n confidence, and makes this young squad follow him. Varying results are a reality but he clearly is developing the team.
The management is making a good decision in extending his contract.
We also need another near-elite CB playing next to Bremer but then again, changing the DNA is never easy nor quick. Growing pains are involved, including shipping in 20 goals in 7 matches. Luck wasn't on our side either with two unjust red cards.
Exactly. Vlahovic will hit the free agent market in July and we still need to fork out for Openda, too. Imo we can only spend if David plays really well for the rest of the season and sell him to an EPL club in the summer.
I'm glad that five years after joining, and in the last year of his contract, McKennie finally shows he can be an important player. I hope he stays now that he's proven that he's worthy but he's not perfect either so I don't mind he goes if he asks too much.
Very clear to everyone who watches our last two matches that we need to fix this issue, shows up against top oppositions. I reckon it will take time but hopefully not that long, either.
@juVemaniac Dilain pihak, gol keempat Juve bs tjd krn David & Openda jg. Lewat mrk, bola bs ngalir dan memperpanjang pressure di 1/3 permainan lawan. Jd tanpa no.9 ada +/- tp buat tim spt Juve yg aktif ngejar scudetto & UCL, stl adanya David & Openda, imo tetep wajib punya no.9 ky Vlahovic.
@juVemaniac Dua2nya pemain pendek berenergi dan walau bs main sbg no.9, tp dari karakteristiknya sebenernya lbh cocok jd support striker. Jd kl Vlahovic keluar musim dpn, imo Juve tetep perlu no.9 yg piawai spy Juve bs main udara jg di dpn.
@masnafiss Tevez is one of a kind. He's one of a very few players who your team adjust to. In general, you need a no.9 for his aerial threat, among others. This season is not a problem since we still have Vlahovic but we're going to need a new one next year.
Openda looks good. His career trajectory is also encouraging, moving up from the Belgium league, to Netherlands, France and Germany, where he has spent 2yrs productively (although statistically much better in his 1st yr). However, he's only 175cm, even shorter than David (178cm).
Both move and hold the ball well and keep it moving, contrary to Vlahovic who keeps losing it but on the other hand, they're not pure no.9, which has its own benefit. We'll probably look for one next yr but for now, it's interesting to see how Tudor will juggle the three of them.
Fans & pundits put them as one of the scudetto favorites because they hired a winning coach, signed a 40yo star & won in pre-season. They neglected the fact that pre-season meant nothing and all that winning coach had proven in the last few yrs were he killed joy & market value.
