I hated reading as a kid. I use to see words that weren’t even on the page and it made me feel dumb when I read out loud. I went into college reading on a 7th grade level. Not wanting to be embarrassed, I spent nights teaching myself how to read better. Now, reading is a hobby‼️

Message for my Millennials: I gave up! Injury after injury weakened my Will Power. I made excuses for why I stopped playing football. My why wasn’t strong enough.

Fast Fwd to today, knowing that I’ll be Becoming a Dad soon made me Believe in Myself Again‼️

Message for my Millennials: when I realized that my relationship with pain became estranged after playing football, I changed the way that we communicated daily.

Translation: I talk to my pain. I let it know it won’t break me‼️

I now look at pain as an opportunity to GROW‼️

I asked myself a hard question this morning before my workout: “what are you afraid of?”

I guess after being cut from one dream (the NFL) over and over and over again, my will power faded at the hands of a couple NO’s.
