There is an art style used to make small things seem big, especially for models that are often used in films. Look at the original Star Wars trilogy and how they depicted the Death Star or the Star Destroyers. They had a lot of little details to make them look really big. That's what the artists are missing on this game, which is weird because it's kinda "drawing big things 101" so it makes me suspicious of what they're teaching these days.
Compelled to RT this picture every time it pops into my TL, because it's such an insane thing to have happened. If it was in a movie you'd think it was too much.
Because in its attempt to destroy rock 'n' roll and start over, to greet the ascent of rap music into the mainstream as a challenge rather than a threat, it had to revert to some clumsy and cringe songwriting along with it. Our biggest artists were not geniuses, they were just impassioned strivers and bone deep hustlers. Additionally, as a contrast to the original grunge scene which had many qualms about selling out nu-metal bands were more than happy to capitulate to the whims of their label's marketing departments. They held court on TRL, did in-store album signings and played nice with the press. This lack of integrity combined with a general media saturation reached its zenith in Fred Durst, who was the most aggressive hustler in a scene full of them.
But this really only accounts for 1994 - 1999. With the disaster of Woodstock 99 it was generally assumed that nu-metal had peaked and was on its way out. Then Hybrid Theory happened.
Linkin Park were massive in a way no rock band had ever been. Their music was genuinely new, with little precedent, and was received almost immediately as pop music. What was once limited to the muddy fields of Ozzfest was suddenly doing battle with Jennifer Lopez and Ja Rule for the penthouse position on the Hot 100. Suddenly, nu metal didn't look like another here today gone tomorrow music scene it looked like it would just be on top forever. This led to a rush of signings in 2000/2001, more than the industry could absorb, and then 9/11 destroyed those signings chances of getting the attention needed to break.
Wrap all that up in the honestly oppressively monomaniacal lyrical themes of hating, pain, the pain of hating and the hating of the pain and there was a total cultural exhaustion by 2003. The triple headed hydras of Staind's 13 Shades of Gray, Limp Bizkit's Results May Vary and Metallica's St Anger meant there was a real need to see this genre stamped out.
Depending on how conspiratorial you want to go, it is a little funny that a truly progressive genre like nu-metal, musically if not lyrically, had to be smothered like it was. Did the idea that Faith No More or N.W.A. could be more important than The Beatles really seem so threatening to music journalists? Maybe it did. Either way, it's not a genre that 'dies,' it evolves. Nu metal can absorb any genre into its firmament and remain fundamentally 'nu.' There is no 'nu metal revival' because nu metal can never die, it can only be buried. And now we've dug it up again.
Official attendance figures reflect the number of tickets scanned and spectators present within the stadium footprint, rather than visual assessments of seating occupancy at any given moment during the match. FIFA works closely with stadium authorities and ticketing teams to ensure all published figures are based on verified operational data.
Please note that, during last night’s match in Guadalajara, several ticketed fans could be seen standing in concourses rather than staying in their assigned seats throughout the match.

Can’t believe the amount of disgusting Philadelphians in New York last night assaulting Spurs fans. Something has to be done about those animals in Philadelphia.
Logged back onto Destiny 2 for the first time in months today.
I’ve said it 1000 times and I’ll say it again.
The gunplay, the movements, the ability play… it’s so damn top notch. The game just feels amazing to play.
You’d think you’d hear from people who have been to no-phones concerts explaining that it’s fine and makes the show better. Unfortunately, every single one of them died of medical complications mid-show or was kidnapped
The way Emily has found ways to make her voice work on the lower toned songs over the last year deserves more praise
I notice it so much in given up, APFMH and now With You
She’s constantly finding ways with her voice to add impact into her versions of the songs
