I glance up and a volunteer dug into his pockets and offered me some of his own snacks by extending them out in his hand. No words exchanged. These are the moments I cherish🥺

Tonight in Beijing I got on a packed bus and briefly looked around for a seat after a long day.

Without hesitation a man saw me and stood up insisting I take his seat.

Without having any branding or identification, I said ‘you must be Canadian’
