Fun fact
LENACAPAVIR is now available in Nigeria.
Yes, Lenacapavir which can protect against HIV is available in some states
Big thanks to the Nigerian government, and other stakeholders that subsidized it
A Drug that should cost around $28,000 per year (~40 million Naira) was subsidized to around $40 ( 58,000)
This post cracked me up 😂 but let me just explain why this happens.
What you’re seeing here is something called egocentrism in children. At that stage, kids haven’t learned to fully see things from another person’s point of view. Everything still runs from their own lens.
So if they can’t see you, they assume you can’t see them either. That’s why a child might cover their eyes and think they’re invisible, or hide behind a chair that’s clearly not hiding them at all.
It’s common in what’s called the pre-operational stage of development. Basically, it’s just their brain doing its thing. Cute, funny, and 100% normal. So yeah, don’t blame the poor kids 😂
Dem wan kill bros 😂
Truth is- Asiwaju had the advantage of learning from the mistakes of Awo & how MKO sealed the NW/SW alliance. He saw how unreliable & hateful the East can be and how the NC cannot be totally relied on.
Awolowo had no one to learn from; He tried to do right by the book and he stayed far from those he didn't like even if they would have been valuable politically. Inside Mapo Hall, he even said- "Kaka ki n dobale fun Gambari, a ma roju ku ni". He truly underrated the North.
When Asiwaju returned to Nigeria, Awo was dead so he humbled himself under the greatest strategist of that era- Gen Musa Yar'Adua. He tried to master Northern politics and how to think like them. He didn't deceive himself by running to Pa Jakande who never had the structure to win a National election.
If Awolowo didn't try different things & make mistakes, Asiwaju wouldn't have known how to avoid certain pitfalls to ascend the Presidency.
Another man would also take note of everything happening to Tinubu today & learn in a bid to be even greater. It may take decades to see that man though.
I go to the gym 4 times a week and I see different types of people at the gym.
Fat and Obese people trying to lose weight
Slim people trying to build muscle
And average sized people trying to keep fit.
The gym is the one place where no one judges you. They simply just encourage you. You are at the gym because you came to work.
Nkechi Blessing was not photographed in her house or on the street. She was photographed at the gym probably resting in between sets.
Unlike the so many fat people who delude themselves that they are “fat in the right places”, Nkechi Blessing went to the gym to burn that fat because she understands that she needs to be fit and healthy.
Yet, what are people doing? People are mocking her.
We mock people for their weight and when they try to do something about it, we still mock them.
What the fuck do we really want?
Yorubas allow non-indigenes to buy lands with ease, not every community in some region does that. And if Yorubas are the "Most tribalistic" as stated, you won't have the privilege of being anywhere near the South-west condemning them with zero consequence.
Poster face of the judicial crooks in Nigeria.
Just see how the Nigerian media is avoiding this very important piece of information since 2 days. If it was APC or Tinubu related, you'd have been seeing screaming headlines. But this is one of theirs, advocates of holding government to account.
After making over 100 pieces of content on the #TotalEnergiesWAFCON2024, I’m drained, both body and wallet.
CHAN in Tanzania? Not sure I can afford that right now. Heading back to Lagos to rest and recover… financially too.
But I’m glad we won the WAFCON. Driven by passion, I’ll do it all over again, anytime, any day 🇳🇬💚
