@treychaney25 That’s fair. I just think if Presti who’s probably the best GM in the league at getting draft capital couldn’t get a 1st, that says more about Lu’s market than Lu as a player. Doesn’t mean he’s not worth it in theory, just that no team valued him that way in a trade.
@treychaney25 Teams value cheap, young players on rookie deals, and Lu’s already established with a bigger contract. Those aren’t valued the same in trades.
@treychaney25 I get what you’re saying, but I think you’re mixing player value with trade value. I agree Lu is better than a lot of guys picked 15-30. That doesn’t mean a team is giving up a 1st for him.
@treychaney25 Lu’s a great player, but starting on a championship team doesn’t automatically make you worth a 1st-round pick. He’s an elite defender, but he’s not a primary scorer or playmaker. I think he’s valuable, but I don’t think it’s crazy that OKC didn’t get a 1st.

Draymond Green:
“Shai, you've reached a new level of greatness my man... you got sports media coming out and talking about what they don't like about your greatness, as if SGA is running up and down the court with the whistle in his mouth calling a foul for himself... you all think the NBA is that easy to where this guy just flops and goes to the free throw line and he becomes the back to back MVP? We really gonna dumb the NBA down to that?”
