My first attempts at writing were fanfic based. Including Star Wars inspired comics I created during classes in middle school. Twenty some novels later I'd say the fanfic didn't hurt me.

@sorayacorcoran Getting anything creative done is a victory. I listen to audio books or watch movies to remind me why I love stories and allow myself to get lost in someone else's world for a bit. And a bubble bath never hurts.

Ms. Blancas went viral for this video in 2018. In Oct. she got Covid and spent the next 7 weeks in the ICU. She ran out of sick days & lost her health insurance. A GoFundMe was set up for medical expenses. She passed away on Sunday. A #1stgrade teacher at 35yrs old, gone.
