Another life CUT short at the UMI Zebra crossing.
“We've lost Kimbugwe Najib (MPA15). After classes on Saturday, he left @UMIUganda through Jinja Rd gate. Unfortunately, he was hit by a boda while crossing that Kla-Jinja Road. He picked himself up, didn't feel bad and was joined by colleagues to go and make a statement at Jinja rd police. He also went to Habi clinic for a check-up and was found fine. He came to class on Sunday and wrote a test. However, yesterday, he was not feeling well, so he went to mulago, where doctors established he had a blood clot in the brain. He passed on 10pm yesterday at Mulago Hospital. Burrial today 2pm at Kireka.”

So sad that we continue to lose people to preventable crashes.

Last week I was honored to hand over the Chairmanship of the @TEACH4UG board to my brother Ivan Senfuma. I am grateful for the last 3 years in which I was able to serve with joy and honor. I look forward to supporting the organization’s work as an ordinary board member.
